My first Real Sukiyaki

dsc00049.jpg

Located at Taman Jurong, just beside Sheng Shiong supermarket… lies this authentic looking signboard. Screaming out the Japanese occupation…. and behold… Beef Sukiyaki. Yes… its fresh, its hot, and its the real deal. $25++ for this monstrous pot of bubbling blend of sukiyaki broth. You boil. You dump. It bubbles. You burn your tongue. Dump it in raw egg to cool it off. You slurp. And you say… “Holy Cow.” Yeap literally man. I’ve never had anything like it. It confounds the nerves when the heat bites into the tongue, the savory broth itches and triggers desire. You yearn, you squirm… you feel… warmth.

Here’s a preview.
